Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, qualification, and scale-up of novel electrode and cell prototyping and testing capabilities.
- Manage projects involving multiple functions to stay on target and keep stakeholders informed.
- Document and train teammates on the operation and data analysis of systems and processes.
- Proactively identify issues and support operations by continuously improving system performance.
- Invest in the company's values and vision and champion them as the organization grows.
Job Requirements
- Experience developing materials, assembly, or test processes, particularly for R&D.
- Demonstrated cross-functional project management skills.
- Experience implementing safety and data collection/analysis best practices.
- At least a B.S. in engineering or physical science.
- 5 years of hands-on industry experience; lithium-ion battery experience is a plus.
- Experience in computer automated design (mechanical or electrical) is a plus.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment and handle physical demands of the job.
