Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical components of electrical distribution equipment.
- Test mechanical components.
- Design and select components, materials, and parts for mechanical systems.
- Create mechanical models and conduct tolerance analyses.
- Calculate and document final layouts for parts and assemblies.
- Maintain technical product files.
- Analyze existing development procedures and suggest improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a STEM field.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and R&D related to electrical power distribution products.
- Proficiency in 3D solid modeling tools such as Creo/Teamcenter or SolidWorks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Professional communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel 10%.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
