Responsibilities
- Lead new product development for electrical equipment (Panelboards and Switchboards).
- Engineer innovative design concepts utilizing CREO.
- Plan and manage projects including scope of work, schedules, costs, and completion dates.
- Prepare prototypes for design feasibility evaluation and testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
- Create part drawings, Material BOMs, and Engineering Change Notices related to product development.
- Perform trade-off studies of design concepts to determine optimal solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
- 2-5 years of experience in new Product Development Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Creo or similar 3D modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Hands-on prototyping experience.
- Strong creative and technical aptitude.
- Preferred: Panelboard/Switchboard design experience and 2 years of Project Management experience.
