Responsibilities
- Analyze product specifications and clarify requirements with R&D, Engineering, and Product Management.
- Develop modifications to increase production efficiency and contribute to re-engineering efforts.
- Provide detailed information on product specifications and necessary components for completion.
- Plan equipment layout, tools, and IT programs, and design manufacturing workflows in collaboration with other engineers.
- Analyze manufacturing sequences during pilot series and recommend product changes based on manufacturability assessments.
- Conduct improvement projects on-site and liaise with engineering functions and external vendors.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of processes and products, including CapEx analysis and submission.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
- 2+ years of Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience in an assembly and fabrication environment.
- Proven experience in improving safety, quality, delivery reliability, and cost in manufacturing.
- Ability to measure, design, and install production fixtures and equipment.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel 5% and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
