Responsibilities
- Support automation team and manufacturing systems in deployment of wiring cells, automated material conveyance (AMRs), and assembly cells.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, automate reporting, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Lead projects focused on safety, quality, delivery reliability, and cost reduction through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Oversee manufacturing capability, continuity, and process documentation for new product introductions and production line improvements.
- Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including budgeting, cost analysis, vendor coordination, and execution of equipment installations.
- Apply project management principles to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and stakeholder alignment for all manufacturing improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing techniques and fixture/equipment design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
- Proven ability to manage CapEx projects, including cost justification, procurement, and implementation of production equipment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
