Responsibilities
- Perform electrical engineering studies, including power factor analysis, harmonic modeling, grounding analysis, short-circuits, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies.
- Provide engineering-related design, analysis, and studies, including troubleshooting protective relaying and controls.
- Support field services by working on shutdown, startup, installation, and maintenance projects.
- Interact with customers to gather critical information and review engineering plans.
- Engage in hands-on engineering tasks alongside the field service group.
- Collaborate with diverse professionals in a collaborative environment.
- Participate in training and mentorship programs for professional growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems studies.
- Willingness to work hands-on in the field with technicians.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with power system modeling software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of protective relay projects, short-circuit analysis, and power quality studies is a plus.
- Utility design experience is an advantage.
- Graduation date on or before December 2025 is required.
