Responsibilities
- Perform electrical engineering studies including power factor analysis, harmonic modeling, and grounding analysis.
- Provide engineering-related design, analysis, and studies.
- Design and troubleshoot protective relaying and controls.
- Occasionally work with the Field Services team on installation and maintenance projects.
- Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
- Be hands-on with the engineering and field service group.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and co-workers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
- Willingness to work hands-on in the field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with power system modeling software is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of protective relay projects and power quality studies is a plus.
- Utility design experience is a plus.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to safety and integrity in work practices.
