Responsibilities
- Contribute to the concepting and development of Shark products through brainstorming and prototyping.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to find innovative solutions.
- Build, test, and iterate prototypes while validating performance and usability.
- Analyze data from testing and consumer feedback to inform design decisions.
- Participate in technical deep-dives and design reviews to propose solutions.
- Take ownership of engineering tasks, gaining exposure to materials and manufacturing.
- Support design feasibility analysis and technical documentation.
Job Requirements
- Current student in a related engineering program or recent graduate.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with CAD programs (Solidworks and/or Creo).
- Hands-on prototype development experience using machine shop tools.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Passion for product design and function, with a willingness to engage in hands-on work.
