Responsibilities
- Contribute to the concepting and development of Shark products through brainstorming and prototyping.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to explore innovative solutions.
- Build, test, and iterate prototypes and lab rigs to validate performance and usability.
- Analyze testing data and consumer feedback to inform design decisions.
- Participate in technical deep-dives and design reviews to propose solutions.
- Take ownership of engineering tasks and support design feasibility analysis and CAD modeling.
- Assist in hands-on development and testing workstreams.
Job Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in a related engineering program.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with CAD programs (Solidworks and/or Creo).
- Hands-on prototype development experience with basic machine shop tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Passion for product design and innovation.
- Familiarity with electronics and experience with developer kits is desirable.
