Responsibilities
- Design analog and digital circuits including low noise analog circuits, A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, and communication interfaces.
- Perform design, debugging, and board bring-up of embedded electronics for microprocess-based control and communication hardware.
- Contribute to project work through architecture, schematics, and software design while supporting testing and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering and marketing to provide cost estimates and implement product requirements.
- Design and develop consumer product electronics from concept to ongoing support.
- Support fielded products and analyze field-reported issues.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Previous experience in the consumer products industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in all aspects of electrical design including component selection and debugging.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experimentation experience.
- Familiarity with compliance testing and product implementation processes.
