Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of motor engineers, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Drive motor technology strategy and define the roadmap for motor architectures.
- Provide technical oversight across motor development from concept to production.
- Collaborate with global motor suppliers to co-develop optimized motor solutions.
- Define motor performance targets in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct advanced electromagnetic and electromechanical analysis.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure optimal motor integration.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in motor design and development, preferably in consumer products.
- Proven leadership skills in building and mentoring engineering teams.
- Expert understanding of electromagnetic theory and motor physics.
- Hands-on experience with FEA tools for modeling.
- Deep knowledge of motor control principles.
- Extensive experience in supplier partnerships for motor development.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required; advanced degrees preferred.
