Responsibilities
- Specification, qualification, and testing of electrical hardware.
- Review and ensure the quality of electrical hardware design.
- Support or build engineering hardware prototypes.
- Liaise with stakeholders to optimize design for manufacturing and efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews and write design specifications.
- Evaluate field failure data and provide solutions for electrical components.
- Specify and draw power cable and cable harness for UPS or power converters.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Experience in product development and preferably Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of electrical components and national electrical codes/standards.
- Experience in labs and troubleshooting.
- Ability to draw technical documentation and main circuit diagrams.
- Experience in 3 phase UPS Electrical design is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Design for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and related standards.
