Responsibilities
- Manage design of new and retrofit manufacturing facilities.
- Review and drive Mechanical Drawing packages including HVAC, plumbing, and other systems.
- Perform and review utility demands for existing and new facilities.
- Coordinate between Design and Construction for proper information flow.
- Review and approve RFIs, submittals, and material submittals.
- Monitor design packages and field installations for compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure code compliance with mechanical and environmental regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of project management and design experience.
- Preferred focus in HVAC, plumbing, and related systems in an industrial setting.
- Preferred certifications: PE, PMP, PgMP.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical standards and building codes.
- Experience in managing design engineering firms.
- Ability to communicate project issues effectively throughout all phases.
