Responsibilities
- Manage design of new and retrofit manufacturing facilities.
- Review and drive Mechanical Drawing packages such as HVAC, exhaust, plumbing, and chilled water systems.
- Perform and review utility demands for existing and new facilities.
- Coordinate between Design and Construction to ensure proper flow of information.
- Review/Approve RFIs, submittals, and material submittals.
- Ensure code compliance with mechanical standards and regulations.
- Identify and manage project issues throughout all phases of project-related work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of project management and design experience.
- Preferred focus in HVAC and related systems in an industrial setting.
- Preferred certifications include PE, PMP, PgMP.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical standards and building codes.
- Experience in managing design engineering firms.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage project issues.
