Responsibilities
- Partner with firmware development and product teams to define automation goals and ensure high-velocity firmware releases.
- Develop and execute automated suites for RTOS-based embedded systems.
- Scale automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
- Perform root cause analysis on failures identified through automated frameworks.
- Support field validation through automated log analysis and issue triage.
- Champion Samsara’s cultural principles in scaling automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and performance.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems or firmware automation engineering.
- Expertise in building and maintaining HIL environments for physical devices.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of RTOS-based embedded systems and low-level troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cellular, GPS, BLE, WiFi, and CAN technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in high-growth technology organizations.
