Responsibilities
- Evaluate and prototype new technologies in Cellular and Wireless Connectivity.
- Work with external technology and SoC vendors to influence their roadmaps.
- Collaborate with product teams to align technology exploration with future product requirements.
- Bridge the gap between new technologies and potential products by working with hardware and software teams.
- Engage in communication and collaboration with firmware/software engineers and product managers.
- Integrate security considerations into product development.
- Navigate regulatory compliance for wireless and IoT devices.
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with embedded technologies.
- Experience with embedded Linux systems and RTOS.
- Proficiency in low-level C and Linux kernel development.
- Familiarity with hardware communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I²C).
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with cloud connectivity and IoT platforms.
