Responsibilities
- Lead and execute multiple multi-million-dollar R&D programs in advanced sensor system technologies.
- Direct cross-disciplinary teams of scientists and engineers through the full technology development lifecycle.
- Plan and oversee complex field tests to validate system performance.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in areas such as acoustics and photonics.
- Apply programming and analytical tools to support modeling and data analysis.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple programs to meet technical objectives.
- Present technical information confidently in various formats.
Job Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience collecting and analyzing data from sensor systems.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Principal Investigator or technical lead on R&D programs.
- Independence to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to anticipate and meet project and customer needs.
- Previous experience in research and development engineering organizations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
