Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration strategies for new products.
- Design production build fixtures, jigs, and related equipment using Solidworks.
- Investigate production failures and provide technical support to the production floor.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard work procedures and test plans.
- Conduct product testing, verification, and validation for compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze and enhance manufacturing methods and workflows to improve productivity.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends for innovative solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the marine industry.
- Proficiency in Solidworks and testing equipment.
- Hands-on experience with fixtures, jigs, and production equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Working knowledge of Excel and ideally Google suite of applications.
