Responsibilities
- Define, process, and interpret static and dynamic ground test & flight data.
- Perform, validate, and document structural analyses of vehicle structures.
- Conduct structural and dynamic simulations, including various analyses types.
- Collaborate with design and test engineers to iterate design concepts.
- Define test requirements and support testing of vehicle subsystems.
- Lead technical projects and programs across disciplines and teams.
- Implement new theories and tools, establishing best practices in technical areas.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years (or 5+ years for senior level) of engineering experience in aerospace.
- Experience with NX Nastran, NX CAD, and Teamcenter packages.
- Knowledge of spacecraft-level structural test campaign design and execution.
- U.S. citizenship required due to program requirements.
- Master’s or PhD in mechanical engineering preferred (for senior level).
- Familiarity with analyzing additive manufactured parts and structural analysis of composites is a plus.
