Responsibilities
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering knowledge.
- Participate in designing and testing Neutron’s structures and components.
- Assist in building engine system hardware for the Archimedes development.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors to discuss progress and learning.
- Engage in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees.
- Contribute to real engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Support the setup of launch pads and test sites across the U.S.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs, projects).
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small, high-performing teams.
- Experience with Siemens NX, ANSYS Workbench, and CAD is a plus.
- Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and rocket engines is desirable.
- Must be able to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
