Responsibilities
- Collaborate with mentors and department employees to apply engineering concepts.
- Work in a fast-paced environment to solve real challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Assist in designing and testing Neutron’s structures and components.
- Support the setup of launch pads and test sites across the U.S.
- Contribute to the development of new rocket engines.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as Siemens NX and ANSYS Workbench is a plus.
- Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and CAD experience preferred.
- Experience with liquid rocket engines and fluid dynamics is advantageous.
