Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mentors and department employees to apply engineering concepts.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to solve real challenges.
  • Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
  • Assist in designing and testing Neutron’s structures and components.
  • Support the setup of launch pads and test sites across the U.S.
  • Contribute to the development of new rocket engines.

Job Requirements

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as Siemens NX and ANSYS Workbench is a plus.
  • Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and CAD experience preferred.
  • Experience with liquid rocket engines and fluid dynamics is advantageous.
