Responsibilities
- Support the creation of FEA models for new and updated designs.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Collaborate with team members on engineering and industry challenges.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
- Contribute to the development of Neutron’s structures and components.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects).
- Proficiency in software such as Python, ANYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks is preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and FEA is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR regulations.
