Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events.
- Work on development projects with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to the design and testing of rocket structures and components.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, or projects).
- Proficient in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
- Experience with CAD/CAM.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
