Responsibilities

  • Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models.
  • Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
  • Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events.
  • Work on development projects with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to the design and testing of rocket structures and components.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, or projects).
  • Proficient in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
