Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models of designs.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Collaborate with team members to solve engineering challenges.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events.
- Work on development projects with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to the design and testing of Neutron’s structures and components.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in an engineering, physics, or math degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
- Proficiency in software like Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks is a plus.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is desirable.
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
