Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of FEA models for new and updated designs.
  • Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
  • Collaborate with team members on engineering and industry challenges.
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
  • Work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
  • Contribute to the development of Neutron’s structures and components.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects).
  • Proficiency in software such as Python, ANYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks is preferred.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM and FEA is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR regulations.
