Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron Propulsion team with FEA models of designs.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Participate in the design and testing of structures and components.
- Collaborate closely with a mentor and other team members.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings for progress updates.
- Engage in tech talks and networking events.
- Work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to work in small, high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in software such as Python, ANYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks is preferred.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and lead projects without supervision.
