Responsibilities

  • Support the Neutron Propulsion team in creating FEA models of designs.
  • Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve engineering challenges.
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events.
  • Work on development projects with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to the design and testing of Neutron’s structures and components.

Job Requirements

  • Enrollment in an engineering, physics, or math degree program.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
  • Proficiency in software like Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks is a plus.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is desirable.
  • Strong collaboration skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
