Responsibilities

  • Create FEA models of new and updated designs.
  • Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
  • Collaborate with mentors and department employees to apply engineering concepts.
  • Participate in 1:1 meetings with mentors for guidance and progress updates.
  • Engage in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to solve real engineering challenges.
  • Contribute to ongoing learning and growth within the team.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project experience).
  • Proficiency in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
