Responsibilities
- Create FEA models of new and updated designs.
- Analyze critical rocket engine hardware.
- Collaborate with mentors and department employees to apply engineering concepts.
- Participate in 1:1 meetings with mentors for guidance and progress updates.
- Engage in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Work in a fast-paced environment to solve real engineering challenges.
- Contribute to ongoing learning and growth within the team.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project experience).
- Proficiency in software such as Python, ANSYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
- Experience with CAD/CAM.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
