Responsibilities
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
- Participate in problem-solving for real-world engineering challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings for progress updates and feedback.
- Engage in professional networking and social events with interns and employees.
- Support the design and testing of mechanical components for space applications.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts and hardware.
- Ensure designs meet the requirements for extreme space environments.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, or projects).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for mechanical design.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools.
- Familiarity with 3D printing and machining processes.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
