Responsibilities
- Work closely with mentors and department employees to apply engineering concepts.
- Solve real engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver results on development projects.
- Develop new concepts and hardware for space applications.
- Assist in building and testing designs for extreme space environments.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree program in engineering, physics, or math.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internship or projects).
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for mechanical component design.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis and 3D printing.
- Familiarity with machining and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing.
