Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron team in procuring hardware.
- Drive first build and test of fluid components.
- Perform qualification tests to ensure components meet functional requirements.
- Collaborate with mentors and department employees to apply engineering concepts.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in high-performing teams.
- Skills in CAD/CAM, CNC, or 3D printing would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science is beneficial.
- Must be able to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
