Responsibilities
- Design sub-systems and components for electric drive units.
- Generate and revise 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA V6.
- Review designs for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop work instructions and assembly guidance documentation.
- Analyze designs with calculations and numerical methods.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Support root cause analysis and testing activities.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in complex systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, preferably CATIA V6.
- Experience with GD&T and conducting stack-up analyses.
- Ability to perform structural hand calculations and FEA studies.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping and high-volume manufacturing processes.
