Responsibilities
- Lead engineering deliverables for aluminum and steel wheels and accessories.
- Collaborate with design teams to assess wheel design feasibility.
- Evaluate designs using CAE software and define validation procedures.
- Create engineering specification packages for internal and external communication.
- Manage CAD releases and perform CAD-related tasks in CATIA 3DX.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Balance multiple projects and travel as needed for testing and support.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in wheel design or development.
- Ability to interpret data and solve complex engineering problems.
- Proficiency in CAD (CATIA V6 3DX) and CAE software.
- Understanding of chassis design principles and wheel/tire standards.
- Experience with project management and stakeholder communication.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
