Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering deliverables including design and validation of wheels and accessories.
- Engineering of initial wheel designs and assessing feasibility.
- Evaluate wheel designs using CAE software and define validation procedures.
- Create engineering specification packages for internal and external communication.
- Handle CAD engineering releases and perform CAD assembly within CATIA 3DX.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Balance multiple projects and travel as necessary for testing and support.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in wheel design or development.
- Ability to interpret data and solve complex problems.
- Experience with CAD (CATIA V6 3DX) and CAE FEA Software.
- Understanding of wheel & tire design standards and homologation.
- Operates effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects independently.
