Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical development of infotainment and sensor modules.
- Define mechanical component requirements and perform trade studies for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess change impacts and development needs.
- Guide thermal and FEA studies for component design optimization.
- Use critical thinking and scientific methodologies to solve engineering issues.
- Partner with electrical teams on PCB layout and thermal design of control modules.
- Document component mechanical functional requirements based on product specifications.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in automotive or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in mechanism design, thermal design, and PCB integration.
- Proficient CAD designer, preferably in Catia V5/V6/3DX.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with manufacturing methods and EV vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of DFMEA principles and execution.
