Responsibilities
- Define vehicle topologies for device connections and low voltage power architecture.
- Collaborate with hardware/software vehicle architects on integration strategies.
- Derive and maintain information from device transmittals and vehicle requirements.
- Develop complexity matrices for harness families, defining regional and circuit level variants.
- Review connector/terminal selection and cavity layout with design release engineers.
- Support vehicle assembly lines for design implementation and issue tracking.
- Coordinate design changes within the Electrical Distribution Organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with Wire Harness Design Tool, Capital Harness Suite preferred.
- Familiarity with program management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working with specialty cables.
- Knowledge of DFMEA principles preferred.
- Self-driven with strong initiative and minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
