Responsibilities
- Define vehicle topologies for device connections and integrate with vehicle communication protocols.
- Collaborate with hardware/software architects on vehicle integration strategies.
- Maintain information from device transmittals and output sub-system logical schematics.
- Develop complexity matrices for harness families, defining variants and options.
- Review connector/terminal selection and cavity layout with design release engineers.
- Ensure design supports cross-functional teams' design intent.
- Support assembly lines for design implementation and issue tracking.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in wire harness technology or electrical wiring systems.
- Experience with Capital Harness Suite and Program Management tools is a bonus.
- Knowledge of DFMEA principles is advantageous.
- Self-driven with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
