Responsibilities
- Manage industrial automation/equipment supplier development and strategic relationships.
- Identify technologies and suppliers, assess capabilities, and create sourcing plans.
- Lead strategic sourcing events and manage contractual negotiations with suppliers.
- Support the design and execution of CapEx for new factories and equipment.
- Drive cost negotiations and manage supplier performance metrics.
- Monitor CapEx spend forecasts and collaborate with finance for risk management.
- Communicate key supplier and technology-based decisions to senior leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
- 2-5+ years of technical sourcing or capital project procurement experience.
- Experience in managing commercial relationships in high-volume manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of the automotive manufacturing technology landscape.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel and manage global projects.
