Responsibilities
- Manage industrial automation/equipment supplier development and strategic relationships.
- Identify technologies, suppliers, assess capabilities, and create sourcing plans.
- Lead strategic sourcing events and supplier interfacing, resolving complex manufacturing issues.
- Steer contractual negotiations with suppliers, executing Purchase Agreements and Statements of Work.
- Support timely and efficient Capex design, execution, and lifecycle sustaining of new factories and equipment.
- Drive cost and commercial value negotiations with detailed data analysis.
- Monitor capex spend forecast and collaborate with the finance team on risk management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Advanced degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
- 2-5+ years of technical sourcing or capital project procurement experience.
- Experience managing commercial relationships in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of the technology and supplier landscape in automotive manufacturing.
- Analytical skills and technical literacy to solve complex issues.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to travel and manage projects globally.
