Responsibilities

  • Contribute to product architecture focused on user experience, quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate design specifications, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Implement Design for Manufacture principles and create engineering drawings to ensure successful product designs.
  • Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for design validation.
  • Test and validate designs from prototype to production, addressing any field issues.
  • Contribute to consumer product engineering design alongside charging network projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience designing mechanical parts that interface with electrical components.
  • Knowledge of thermal and structural design constraints.
  • Proficiency in static FEA and CAD software, preferably CATIA.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes like injection molding, casting, and stamping.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on engineering rigor.
