Responsibilities
- Contribute to product architecture focusing on user experience, quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate design implementation.
- Implement 'Design for Manufacture' principles in all designs.
- Conduct FEA and thermal simulations to validate designs.
- Test and validate prototypes through to production-ready parts.
- Contribute to consumer product engineering design alongside charging infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, particularly with electrical components.
- Experience with thermal and structural design constraints.
- Proficiency in static FEA.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably CATIA.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as injection molding and stamping.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on engineering rigor.
