Responsibilities
- Contribute to product architecture and optimize for user experience and product quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely design specifications and troubleshoot field issues.
- Implement Design for Manufacture principles and ensure rigorous documentation.
- Conduct FEA and thermal simulations to validate designs.
- Test and validate designs from prototype to production.
- Contribute to consumer product engineering design in addition to charging products.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, particularly with electrical components.
- Experience with thermal and structural constraints in design.
- Proficiency in static FEA and CAD software, preferably CATIA.
- Experience with manufacturing processes like injection molding and stamping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
