Responsibilities
- Design and develop class A plastic injection molded components for vehicle interiors.
- Utilize Catia V6/3D Experience to create 3D parametric data.
- Generate high-quality 2D drawings in Catia V6.
- Collaborate with studio designers to achieve design themes.
- Engage cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Develop engineering bill of materials and manage changes using Enovia.
- Support creation of Product Validation plans and coordinate validation activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with CAD software, specifically Catia V5/V6.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding and 3D printing.
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to self-direct and manage ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for vehicle launch activities.
