Responsibilities
- Translate aesthetic styling visions into production-ready interior and exterior lighting solutions.
- Solve technical problems and evaluate design trade-offs using first-principles reasoning.
- Apply GD&T principles and perform tolerance stack-up analysis for quality standards.
- Lead the development of DFMEA and validate requirements with DVP&R.
- Manage Tier 1 supplier relationships and technical design reviews.
- Execute engineering change management and maintain accurate Bills of Materials.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-3+ years of experience in exterior/interior lamp development at a Tier 1 or OEM.
- Proficient in managing the full part lifecycle from design to production.
- Understanding of injection molding design guidelines.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, especially CATIA V5/V6.
- Ability to generate 3D geometry and sectional data.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve technical challenges.
