Responsibilities
- Create detailed CAD models based on high-level design descriptions using software such as Catia, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or Creo.
- Assemble components and create accurate schematics for various systems.
- Ensure all components fit together seamlessly with rigorous reviews, software tools, and tolerance analyses.
- Work closely with vendors to review and refine designs.
- Write parameterized scripts to automate generation of CAD models.
Job Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree at an accredited university.
- Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience using CAD tools to create manufacturable products.
- Participation in commercial design for manufacturing process is preferred.
- Experience in FEA simulation is preferred.
