Responsibilities
- Ownership of key electrical sub-systems and functions within new DC high power charging products.
- Delivery of electrical hardware and charging functions by coordinating decision-making between hardware and software teams.
- Development and coordination of requirements across multiple teams including vehicle, cloud, and mobile.
- Contributing to architecture development and electrical system-level design for charging products.
- Analyzing design impacts associated with alternate designs or new components and vendors.
- Collaborating with validation teams on system/sub-system plans for requirement traceability.
- Creating and maintaining essential technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, specifications, and test reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3+ years of system engineering related experience.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools and agile project management tools (Jira and Confluence preferred).
- Proficiency in applying DFMEA’s, functional safety analysis, and/or other systems engineering tools.
- Experience developing EV charging products or significant understanding of the EV charging space.
- Compliance experience with UL/IEEE/SAE standards is a plus.
- Experience working with high-voltage systems and different communication protocols.
