Responsibilities
- Assist in 3D CAD modeling and drafting of ECU enclosures and related components.
- Execute detailed design tasks under senior engineers’ guidance, focusing on automotive design practices.
- Support integration and packaging of electronic components, ensuring compliance with various requirements.
- Conduct basic thermal analysis and assist in interpreting simulation results.
- Perform closed-loop tolerance analysis based on part drawings.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to optimize designs for mass production.
- Document design specifications and participate in design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 0-4 years of relevant professional or intern/co-op experience.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Foundational understanding of heat transfer and materials science.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
