Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and installation of modified flight control systems.
- Ensure proper build-up of functions and capabilities from lab to vehicle.
- Collaborate with engineers across mechanical, software, flight test, and systems engineering disciplines.
- Help prepare and lead flight test activities for proper implementation.
- Participate in safety-critical operations.
- Contribute to the development of a remotely operated autoflight system.
- Engage in experimental and certification product development.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
- Applied engineering experience through internships, student organizations, or personal projects.
- Ability to participate in safety-critical operations.
- Preferred: Pilot’s certificate or pursuing one.
- Preferred: Leadership experience in relevant student organizations.
- Preferred: Experience with computer science languages (Python or similar).
- Must comply with U.S. export control laws.
