Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and supplier management for propulsion components.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to influence design for manufacturability.
- Drive supplier performance through risk management and contract negotiations.
- Mentor and support team members in aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Act as a thought leader for valve commodities, improving sourcing processes.
- Ensure alignment of procurement with program milestones.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
- Experience managing suppliers for aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation and milestone management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes (machining, forming, welding, assembly).
- Familiarity with aerospace raw materials and associated processing methods.
