Responsibilities
- Lead the development of onboard power systems for the recovery vessel.
- Provide engineering support for electrical systems, including low-voltage control and telemetry systems.
- Support offshore recovery campaigns to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Apply lessons learned to improve future designs and systems.
- Contribute to establishing engineering and operational practices within the recovery team.
- Communicate effectively across technical and operational teams.
- Travel approximately 25% of the time for project needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical power systems development.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems using engineering fundamentals.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with teams and contractors.
- Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours as needed.
- Familiarity with low-voltage control systems and marine regulatory standards is a plus.
- Background check clearance required for on-site work at government partner locations.
