Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams to define requirements for automation systems.
- Design and develop mechanical systems from conception to production.
- Create models, drawings, and specifications.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to set goals and ensure effective communication.
- Ensure designs meet requirements for tolerances, functionality, and safety.
- Utilize rapid prototyping to iterate and refine designs quickly.
- Take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience designing industrial automation equipment or mechanical structures.
- Proficiency in CAD, including GD&T application and tolerance analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods and technologies.
- Nice to have: Proficiency in NX CAD software and experience with PLM systems.
- Nice to have: Hands-on experience performing structural FEA analysis using ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar tools.
