Responsibilities
- Design and analyze steel weldments for various hardware test loads
- Create drawings and work instructions for assembly of 3D printed parts
- Write and execute test day procedures
- Support design and data reviews of flight structures
- Collaborate with Additive, Design, Test, and Loads & Dynamics teams
- Document work and provide recommendations in technical discussions
- Complete projects on time and within budget
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a full cycle design engineering role
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and testing
- Fundamental knowledge of structures strength, stability, and fatigue failure mechanisms
- Familiarity with additive and traditional manufacturing processes
- Experience with NX/TeamCenter, Nastran, and ANSYS (nice to have)
- Demonstrated record of timely project completion (nice to have)
