Responsibilities
- Design and analyze steel weldments for test loads.
- Create drawings and work instructions for new parts.
- Write and execute test day procedures.
- Support design and data reviews of flight structures.
- Lead projects from design to completion.
- Document work and provide recommendations in technical discussions.
- Collaborate with Additive, Design, Test, and Loads & Dynamics teams.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in design engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Knowledge of structural analysis and test methods.
- Understanding of strength, stability, and fatigue failure mechanisms.
- Familiarity with additive and traditional manufacturing processes.
- Experience with NX/TeamCenter, Nastran, and ANSYS (preferred but not required).
- Proven record of timely project completion and effective collaboration.
