Responsibilities

  • Drive engine system architecture and concept of operations trades.
  • Manage engine interfaces and negotiate requirements for vehicle optimization.
  • Support overall engine system development, analysis, and simulation.
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship and project management.
  • Communicate with leadership and establish project priorities.
  • Make direct technical contributions while supporting team growth.
  • Participate in building, testing, and iterating on the Aeon-R engine systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field.
  • 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, including 2 years with liquid-propellant rocket engines.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in engineering fundamentals related to fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
  • Strong self-starter with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to team growth and development.
  • Familiarity with fluid components and engine subsystems is a plus.
