Responsibilities
- Drive engine system trades and manage engine interfaces to optimize vehicle performance.
- Support engine system development, analysis, and simulation.
- Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Coordinate with other technical teams and facilitate collaborative projects.
- Communicate project progress and priorities with leadership.
- Recruit and develop talent within the team.
- Solve complex technical problems related to liquid-propellant rocket engines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, technology, or mathematics).
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in complex system development or testing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with liquid-propellant rocket engines.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
- Ability to deliver on ambitious schedules and support continuous improvement.
- Experience in mentoring and managing interdisciplinary projects.
