Responsibilities
- Drive engine system trades and manage engine interfaces.
- Support engine system development and analysis.
- Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship and project management.
- Communicate with leadership and establish project priorities.
- Contribute technically to the development of liquid-propellant rocket engines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
- Participate in engine testing and tool development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, technology, or mathematics).
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, including 2 years with liquid-propellant rocket engines.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
- Ability to deliver on ambitious schedules through creative problem-solving.
- Experience in mentoring and supporting team growth.
- Willingness to travel to test and launch sites as needed.
