Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and operate launch control and acquisition hardware.
  • Work with Beckhoff PLCs or similar systems.
  • Support high-speed data acquisition and instrumentation.
  • Integrate and operate high-speed cameras.
  • Design electrical systems for hazardous areas.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to gather requirements and plan schedules.
  • Plan and install wiring and hardware in access-limited areas.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
  • Experience with data acquisition hardware and PLC-based control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with VFDs, soft starts, and heater controllers.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multidisciplinary groups.
  • Nice to have experience with spacecraft design and rocket launch sites.
  • Proficiency in electrical schematic design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or Zuken E3) is a plus.
  • Must clear a background check for on-site work at government partner location.
