Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate launch control and acquisition hardware.
- Work with Beckhoff PLCs or similar systems.
- Support high-speed data acquisition and instrumentation.
- Integrate and operate high-speed cameras.
- Design electrical systems for hazardous areas.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to gather requirements and plan schedules.
- Plan and install wiring and hardware in access-limited areas.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
- Experience with data acquisition hardware and PLC-based control systems.
- Hands-on experience with VFDs, soft starts, and heater controllers.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multidisciplinary groups.
- Nice to have experience with spacecraft design and rocket launch sites.
- Proficiency in electrical schematic design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or Zuken E3) is a plus.
- Must clear a background check for on-site work at government partner location.
