Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of tooling engineers for production efficiency.
- Define and execute long-term tooling strategies.
- Oversee design, fabrication, and commissioning of tooling systems.
- Manage tooling project portfolios for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams for tooling readiness.
- Standardize best practices for design documentation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance and reliability across tooling assets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in tooling design or manufacturing engineering.
- 4+ years in a leadership role.
- Expertise with CAD and PLM systems (e.g., NX, Teamcenter, SolidWorks).
- Experience leading tooling initiatives for complex hardware.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs effectively.
