Responsibilities
- Develop and implement build and test solutions to increase production rate and improve quality.
- Partner with design teams to enhance valve functionality and manufacturability.
- Lead efforts to build novel processing technologies for high-volume manufacturing.
- Oversee tactical and strategic planning for manufacturing methods and processes.
- Communicate and interface with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Set team/individual goals and drive progress towards completion.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between design engineering, manufacturing, and production teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams through development and production transitions.
- Proven ability to interface effectively with design and manufacturing teams.
- Experience in setting and driving team goals.
- Experience in a new-space manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing highly controlled aerospace products is a nice-to-have.
