Responsibilities
- Develop and implement build and test solutions to increase production rate and improve build quality.
- Partner with design teams to enhance valve functionality and manufacturability.
- Lead efforts to develop novel processing technologies for high-volume manufacturing.
- Manage tactical and strategic planning for manufacturing methods and processes.
- Communicate regularly with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure integration of processes.
- Set team and individual goals to drive progress and completion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams through development/production transitions.
- Proven ability to interface effectively with design and manufacturing teams.
- Experience in scaling production to meet demands.
- Strong leadership skills in setting goals and driving team progress.
- Experience in new-space manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing highly controlled aerospace products is advantageous.
