Responsibilities
- Develop and implement build and test solutions to increase production rate, reduce touch time, and improve build quality.
- Partner with design teams to drive future design trades on valve components.
- Lead efforts to build up novel processing technologies for high volume manufacturing.
- Oversee tactical and strategic planning for manufacturing methods and processes.
- Communicate and interface with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Ensure seamless collaboration and integration of processes with design engineering and production teams.
- Set team/individual goals and drive progress towards completion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams through development and production transitions.
- Proven ability to interface effectively with design engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Experience in setting team goals and driving progress.
- Nice to have: experience in new-space manufacturing and highly controlled aerospace products.
