Responsibilities
- Lead the development of avionics hardware, including electronics and mechanical components.
- Manage a team of engineers and engineering managers across multiple disciplines.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from requirements definition to operations.
- Collaborate with partner teams in engineering, manufacturing, and testing.
- Drive technical leadership and strategy for a fast-paced development program.
- Develop the skills of engineering leaders within the team.
- Ensure seamless integration of avionics systems with other flight systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in developing hardware for mission-critical applications.
- 7+ years of experience in leading engineering teams.
- Familiarity with hardware development processes and lifecycle management.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical CAD tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of environmental testing equipment and techniques (preferred).
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
