Responsibilities
- Design LV and MV paralleling switchgear and control panels.
- Analyze customer specifications and draft initial mechanical layouts.
- Design indoor/outdoor sheet metal enclosures and electrical load bus bar systems using 3D CAD modeling.
- Liaise with sales and production teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Engage in product development tasks, including standardization and innovation.
- Support production staff during assembly by interpreting design drawings.
- Aid in addressing routine technical issues and formulating standard test plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent expertise.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D, Solidworks, and AutoCAD Classic.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Valid driver's license and passport for potential travel.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Preferred experience in designing switchgear, control panels, and knowledge of electrical code.
