Responsibilities
- Simulate, develop, implement & test the signal chain for ion trap RF.
- Perform 3D analysis & simulations for microwaves and RF.
- Develop microwave antennas, power amplifiers, and PCBs.
- Collaborate with vendors & technicians to fabricate passive resonant circuits for cryogenic temperatures.
- Work with experimental ion trap systems to validate concepts for future systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years’ experience in an Electrical engineering R&D environment.
- 2+ years’ experience in PCB development.
- 2+ years’ experience performing 3D and 2D analysis & simulations for microwaves and RF.
- 2+ years’ hands-on experience with RF electronics in a lab setting.
- U.S. Person eligibility due to contractual requirements.
- Preferred: PhD in Physics or Engineering and experience in semiconductor packaging technologies.
