Responsibilities
- Apply PSE standards and engineering principles to design high pressure pipelines and related equipment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex technical issues.
- Manage and prioritize work to drive PSE initiatives.
- Provide technical engineering services to other departments.
- Perform research and report findings on technical issues.
- Support emergency response operations as needed.
- Document and share work to enhance the skills within the engineering workforce.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or PE license in an appropriate engineering field.
- Substantial experience in planning, design, and project management (typically 5+ years).
- Strong documentation, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with codes and equipment in utility system design and operation is preferred.
- Professional Engineering license is desired.
- Knowledge of engineering economics and utility accounting practices is a plus.
