Responsibilities
- Monitors electric distribution system reliability performance at the circuit level
- Performs reliability studies and system analysis using simulation tools
- Develops distribution system improvement projects and utility infrastructure solutions
- Scopes microgrid solutions for enhanced reliability
- Identifies and scopes Distribution Automation Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (DA-FLISR) projects
- Evaluates and scopes wildfire mitigation projects
- Collaborates with PSE's Grid Modernization team to implement new technologies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or PE license in an appropriate engineering field
- Experience in planning, design, specification preparation, and technical field work (typically 3+ years)
- Strong organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills
- Experience working within the utility industry (desired)
- Possession of a Professional Engineering License (desired)
- Knowledge of engineering economics and utility accounting practices (desired)
- Experience working on complex engineering projects (desired)
