Responsibilities
- Applies basic engineering principles and methods.
- Selects and modifies engineering methods and designs.
- Prepares cost estimates, specifications, and conducts engineering studies.
- Plans and develops project budgets and documentation.
- Verifies field measurements of new equipment installations.
- Acquires and validates performance data against design parameters.
- Supports emergency response efforts related to system failures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
- Entry-level to 3 years of engineering design experience.
- Knowledge of engineering economics and analysis.
- Experience in project cost estimating or scheduling.
- Work or internship experience in utility engineering is desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and budgets.
