Responsibilities
- Support the Space Systems Division in the development of Assembly Integration and Test sequences.
- Collaborate with team members to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to track progress.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Contribute to design development and issue resolution for Rocket Lab's satellites.
- Engage in ongoing learning and skill development within a high-performing team.
- Lead development projects and collaborate across teams to achieve results.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math discipline with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project experience).
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and work in small teams.
- Experience working with spacecraft hardware or test hardware is advantageous.
- Familiarity with developing and running test scripts for space hardware is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
