Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a mentor and department employees to apply engineering knowledge.
- Work with a fast-paced team to solve real engineering challenges.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for guidance and progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Contribute to the design and testing of satellite systems and engine architecture.
- Engage in hands-on testing and project development.
- Support integration and performance evaluation of propulsion systems.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs, projects).
- Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above and 6+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Experience with heat transfer, fluids, high-pressure systems, and rocket engines is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python, Siemens NX, and ANSYS Workbench is desirable.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
