Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of spacecraft hardware.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on hardware build and test campaigns.
- Participate in concept creation and integration of components.
- Work closely with a mentor and other department employees.
- Apply engineering concepts to solve real challenges.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
- Engage in tech talks and networking events with other interns.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in an engineering, physics, or math degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for mechanical design.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis tools.
- Experience with 3D printing and machining.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for at least 12 weeks.
